This Code sets out the details of such work and includes recommendations on hose repairs and end fitting assemblies.
LPG bulk transfer hoses need care during transit and storage and, in addition, should be subject to a scheme of periodic inspection and examination. This Code sets out the details of such work and includes recommendations on hose repairs and end fitting assemblies. The 2002 edition has been updated in line with the publication of BSEN 1762 and current practice. Includes amendment 1 August 2006
This Code has been declared Obsolescent as its content, as regards hoses to BSEN 1762 has been incorporated in that standard as supplemented by User Information Sheet 24 Preparation, installation, inspection, testing and maintenance of rubber hoses, up to and including 76 mm Internal diameter in accordance with BSEN 1762 (BSEN 1762 is available at the BSi website - click here.)
It remains available for purchase as it is understood that some hoses to BS may remain in service.
